Piano with Norbert teaches families across Ruislip and the wider HA4 area. We are based in Harrow HA2, and we travel for home lessons or teach at our studio with a Yamaha grand. Lessons are weekly, paid in monthly or termly blocks, and properly structured around technique, sight reading, theory, and repertoire. We work with children from age four, teenagers preparing graded exams, and adult learners at every level.
Teaching across Ruislip
Ruislip is a friendly and family-rich area and we teach a steady cohort here. We travel for home lessons across the HA4 postcodes, and many families prefer that for the simple convenience of avoiding an evening journey with a tired child. Lesson formats and pricing
Lessons run thirty, forty-five, or sixty minutes. Most younger children start at thirty. Older students and adults usually settle at forty-five or sixty. The trial lesson is full length at a reduced rate, and is the cleanest way to see whether the teaching style suits you before committing to a weekly slot.
Exam and theory preparation
We prepare students for ABRSM, Trinity, and RSL grade exams. Theory is part of the picture from Grade 5 upwards under ABRSM rules, and we cover it in lessons or in dedicated theory sessions depending on what works for the student. Our pass rates run high because we only enter students when they are properly ready, not on a calendar.
