Piano with Norbert teaches families across Edgware and the surrounding HA8 area. Our studio is on the HA2 side, and we travel for home lessons across Edgware regularly. The community here is diverse, with families bringing classical, jazz, gospel, and pop music into the lessons. Our teachers handle all of it. Children, teenagers, and adults are all welcome, at every level from absolute beginner through Grade 8 and beyond.

Teaching across Edgware

Edgware sits a comfortable drive from our HA2 base, and home lessons are a frequent choice for families here. The Northern line gives easy reach to the studio for students who prefer the focus of a teaching room with a properly maintained grand. Online lessons by video round out the options, useful for school holidays, weeks of travel, or a temporary illness.

Levels and styles

Many of our Edgware students sit ABRSM or Trinity graded exams. Others work towards school recitals and concerts. A significant share study jazz, gospel, or pop music, often with a goal of playing comfortably at family gatherings or in church and community settings. The lessons are tailored to what you want to play, with the technical and theoretical groundwork added in proper balance.

Travel and convenience

We travel across the HA8 postcodes for in-home lessons with a small travel fee. The studio is at 65 Dorchester Avenue, HA2 7AX, and online lessons run from anywhere in the UK. Many Edgware families use a mix of formats through the year and the teaching standard stays consistent.

Yes. Several of our teachers cover gospel, soul, and contemporary worship piano alongside classical and pop. Lessons cover chord work, voicings, comping, and the feel of accompanying singers and ensembles.
