I'm Declan Rafton, a pianist and performer with over ten years' experience and an Honours degree in Piano Performance from BIMM London.

I still perform regularly across London as a soloist, ensemble player and choir accompanist, so my teaching stays practical and rooted in real music. I specialise in blues, with a love of 70s rock, rock and roll and jazz, all built on a solid classical foundation.

I've taught students of every age and level, tailoring each lesson to your goals in a supportive space where confidence and technique grow together.

I prepare students for ABRSM, Trinity and RSL Rock & Pop exams from Grade 1 to Grade 8. Lessons lean into rock, blues, jazz and contemporary repertoire on a solid classical foundation, with ensemble work and choir accompaniment for those who want to play alongside others. Children from age 4 welcome, plus adult beginners and returners.

I'm Bendit Chan, a pianist and teacher who has graduated with a Master's in Piano Performance from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. I enjoy helping students build confidence at the piano while developing strong technique, musical understanding and a genuine enjoyment of playing.

Alongside teaching, I perform regularly as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral pianist. I have appeared as concerto soloist at Cadogan Hall and Imperial College London, performing Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3 and Prokofiev's Piano Concerto No. 3. I also work in musical theatre as a musical director, pianist and keyboard-conductor, which gives me experience across a wide range of styles.

My lessons are friendly, patient and tailored to each student. I like to build a strong technical foundation while also helping students understand the character and expression behind the music, adapting the pace, repertoire and approach to suit each individual in a warm environment.

I'm happy to teach children, teenagers and adults across a broad range of levels and repertoire, including classical music, musical theatre and contemporary styles. Lessons can include technique, sight-reading, musicianship, exam preparation and performance skills, or simply learning music for enjoyment.

I'm Lena Charalambous, a pianist, vocalist and performer, with a First-Class degree in Music and a Master's in Popular Music Performance from BIMM London. The part of teaching I love most is that first spark, the moment a student plays something they were sure they never could.

Music has been my whole world for as long as I can remember. I hold Grade 8 in piano, singing and music theory, and my own journey has taken me from classical piano through to musical theatre and popular vocals. I still perform across London as an independent artist, so my teaching stays close to real, living music.

Everyone learns differently, so I build each lesson around the student in front of me, gently and at their own pace. Whether you are a nervous beginner or itching to perform, my lessons are a warm, encouraging space where nerves settle, confidence grows, and playing feels like a joy rather than a chore.

I prepare students for ABRSM and Trinity exams from Grade 1 to Grade 8 in both piano and music theory, and for anyone who would love to sing, write their own songs or step into musical theatre, we can explore your voice alongside the piano. Children, teenagers and adults are all welcome, whether you are finding your very first note or returning to the piano after years away. I would love to help you find your sound.

I'm Tristan Hermanto, an award-winning pianist and teacher who has played since the age of five. I trained in Indonesia with Polin Kurniati at Crescendo Music, and with Midya Wirawan, Hendrata Prasetia and Johannes S. Nugroho, before winning a scholarship to The Purcell School for Young Musicians, where I studied piano with Patsy Toh. I now hold a full scholarship to the Royal Academy of Music, studying with Florian Mitrea, and am grateful to be supported by the Talent Unlimited charity.

I have performed and competed internationally. I won first prize at the Indonesia Steinway Youth Piano Competition in 2022, going on to represent Indonesia at the Steinway Asia Pacific Regional Finals, and took third prize at the Scriabin Junior Piano Competition. More recently I won first prize at the Piano Island International Piano Competition. I made my debut recital in 2024, performing Chopin's complete Twelve Études at the Steinway Gallery in Jakarta, and have appeared as a soloist with the Dohnányi Orchestra.

I have been fortunate to learn in masterclasses with some of the world's leading pianists, including Richard Goode, Marc-André Hamelin, Dmitri Bashkirov, Dang Thai Son and Boris Petrushansky. Studying with artists like these continues to shape how I listen, play and teach.

In lessons I am patient, encouraging and attentive to each student. I love helping players of every age and level build a secure technique and a real musical understanding, while keeping the enjoyment in their playing. Whether you are a complete beginner, preparing for an ABRSM or Trinity exam, or returning to the piano after time away, I will tailor the pace, repertoire and approach to suit you. Away from the piano, I also enjoy mathematics and science.
