Norbert Steczkowski – Pianist & Educator

I’m Norbert Steczkowski, a pianist passionate about both performing and teaching. My musical journey began at a young age, and after graduating with honors from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music, I discovered my true calling in education. Guiding students to find their own musical voice and witnessing their growth remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my career.

While my foundation is in classical music, I have a deep love for jazz, which I enjoy performing as well as teaching. My approach blends technical precision, emotional depth, and creative freedom, encouraging students to explore diverse musical styles and develop a well-rounded artistry.

One of the highlights of my career was performing at the Royal Albert Hall with the Trinity Jazz Band. I have also collaborated with many talented musicians and shared my original compositions, which have been recognized both in the UK and abroad. After completing my studies at Trinity, I further expanded my expertise at BIMM London, where I specialized in Popular Music Performance—a pivotal step that shaped me into the versatile musician I am today.

Above all, teaching remains at the heart of my work. It’s a privilege to share my knowledge, nurture talent, and inspire students to develop their own lifelong passion for music. For me, music is a journey without end—one of constant learning, growth, and joy.
